Job sites
The work starts in the field
A construction career begins with crews, schedules, and the habit of finishing what was promised.
In 1993 the founder stepped onto jobs as someone who had to learn the work from the people doing it. Days were spent with trades, deliveries, and the small problems that stop a site if nobody owns them.
That stretch taught a simple rule the company still uses. Write down what the job is, who is responsible, and when it has to be ready. Quality and safety were not a later add-on. They were how a day on site stayed controllable.
Those early years are why Beckman Construction still talks about scope before it talks about a start date.
