Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Beckman Construction is committed to a website that people with disabilities can use. Tracking a contract, reading a service page, and contacting the office should be possible with a keyboard, a screen reader, and browser zoom. We aim to meet widely recognized accessibility standards and to keep improving these pages.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, where applicable. Our efforts include:

• Designing and developing our website and applications with accessibility in mind from the start.
• Testing our digital properties with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
• Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and ensuring sufficient color contrast and readable fonts.
• Ensuring that forms, buttons, and interactive elements are clearly labeled and operable via keyboard and assistive technology.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented a range of features to support accessibility:

• Keyboard navigation — Core functionality can be operated using the keyboard. A “Skip to main content” link is available at the top of each page.
• Screen reader support — Page structure, headings, and interactive elements are marked so screen readers can navigate and announce content correctly.
• Color and contrast — We maintain sufficient contrast between text and background. We do not rely on color alone to convey information.
• Resizable text — Text can be resized using browser or device settings without breaking layout where possible.
• Focus indicators — Visible focus indicators help keyboard users see which element is active.
• Forms and labels — Form fields are associated with visible labels and error messages are clearly presented.
• Reduced motion — We respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting where supported to reduce or remove non-essential animation.

You can also contact the office by phone or email if a page is hard to use. We will help with the contract number, the document, or the proposal.

Feedback and Assistance

We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or in our apps, or if you need information in an alternative format (e.g., large print, braille, or a different language), please contact us. We will work with you to provide the information or service you need and to address the barrier where possible.
